TMI - you have been warned

While giving my urine sample today at the doctor's office, I had trouble getting the cup past my big belly and spilled it on my pants. So I had to go buy new pants at the Wal-mart. Some might say "any excuse is a good excuse to go buy new clothes" but I say "there is never a good reason to go to Wal-Mart".

I had my glucose test today to check for gestational diabetes. I have not received the results yet but I will keep you posted. So far to date I have gained 12 pounds and am currently at a 52.5 inch waist WOO HOO! Mom went with me today to my appointment and we got to hear the heartbeat - 140-145 bpm. This seemed fine with the doctor. She also measured my uterus and came up with 30 cm. We learned in birthing class this past weekend that your uterus length in centimeters should match your weeks pregnant. I am supposed to be 28 weeks along by their calculations but we all know they are off by 2 weeks and once again their measurements have confirmed it. I just can't understand why they are so reluctant to change the due date.
